It's official! I finally got around to figuring out Etsy and opening up a shop.  I struggled with this decision because I want to keep designing fun, and all of the marketing and pressure involved with selling my designs seemed like it would take all the fun out of a hobby I enjoy.  I also like to share what I create for free and wanted to keep it that way (I will still create free kits).

Then I got requests to use my designs for invitations and other small businesses. Through researching prices and policies for those requests, I found that there really was a void in the online market for digital hand drawn illustrations that small businesses could use commercially.  Commercial use digital clip art is out there, but most of it uses perfect shapes and symmetry so they lack the "hand drawn" quality.

My shop will sell hand drawn digital illustrations for commercial use (there are some limitations, please read my TOU).  You will notice that most of the clip art sets are from free kits I've designed. They are different in that the clip art is in flat .png format, meaning it has no texture or style added to it.  Just the basic drawing. That way you can  use it as a starting point like I did to make invitations, party favors, banners, birth announcements, or whatever your heart desires to sell--okay, not everything, read the TOU to be sure.  People who only use my designs for personal use will be interested in the shop too as I will add clip art sets of illustrations that I won't make into free kits, like the London and Paris clip art sets pictured below. You can see everything that I have for sale under the shop tab on the left side menu.

So now there are two options for those wanting to use my designs commercially: 1) buy the clip art set from my Etsy store, or 2) purchase a license to use the freebie kit as is (read about this option HERE).

So head on over to the shop and check it out! Use the code GRANDOPEN25 by 6/16 and get 25% off your order! Also stop by the facebook page to pick up the new facebook freebie!

If there is something you would like to see in the shop, leave a comment with your suggestion!
